March 22, I didn't feel any movement from the baby which had never happened before. When I went in for a heart beat check, there wasn't one.
March 23, Zane was delivered at almost 32 weeks. Dave, a friend and pastor from our church, came and prayed with our family that night of Zane's "birthday". 3-23-12

ReplyDeleteKaely & Chad - I can't begin to express my sorrow for your loss. I've been on the "other side" many times in trying to explain to my patients why such tragic things occur - my explanations are never adequate. Sometimes, we think we know everything there is to know about the science of life, death, illness and health. Events like this remind us that we know very little. We do not know God’s plans for us. However, we know it will be awesome when it is revealed to us. I thank God and Zane for reminding me how precious and mysterious and fragile our lives are.
