Macey always wants to stand so we put her in her Johnny Jump Up and even though she doesn't weigh it down enough to really jump, she likes to stand in it :)

 

 

 

3 Months, Dedication, & Mother's Day

Macey turned 3 months on Mother's Day and was dedicated at church that morning.

We didn't get it on film, but Macey was dedicated with 3 other babies (and there were a lot more in second service). At the end of the line of babies, Dave prayed for the empty spot in honor of all the babies who have been lost and for all of the couples struggling with infertility. I thought that was really sweet. He told us beforehand that he was going to do that and then he turned to me and said "You don't look at me and I won't look at you!" :) He knew we'd both be crying.

We had lunch and cake at the Blasdels after church.

My mom got Macey a cross in honor of her dedication :)

 

We are so thankful for our sweet little girl!

 

 

At 3 months Macey weighs 12 lb. 8 oz. (65th percentile weight)

and is 24 1/2 inches long (90th percentile height). She loves to stand/jump

and she's starting to like toys, but doesn't really grab them on her own yet.

She's pretty happy most of the time and smiles a lot. 

She still sticks her tongue out too :)
