At 3 months Simon weighs 12 pounds (30th percentile) and is 23 1/4 inches long (25th percentile).

He LOVES Macey and smiles every time he hears her voice. He sleeps really well and is super sweet- such an "easy", laid back baby :)

Simon 2 months (and 1 month)

At 2 months he weighs 10 lb 9 oz (40th percentile) and is 21 3/4 inches tall (20th percentile).

Doctor said he is very strong for his age and called him a "little ball of muscle" :)

At 1 month he weighed 8 lb. 5 oz (20th percentile) and was 20 inches tall (10th percentile).

Obviously she still gets into the dog food. It's actually one of her favorite snacks :)

Her new thing is to chew it up for Bruce. He's slowly losing teeth, so maybe this will prevent us from having to buy canned dog food down the road...

"Bad Bad" Dog Food

We've been working with Macey on not touching the dog food. Sometimes when we catch her trying to play in it, she'll quickly point to the food bowl and say "Bad, bad" to the food :) 

She learned it from her dog book - there's a "bad dog" in it, so every time we tell Bruce "no" she points at him and says "Bad, Bad!" :) - we do NOT tell her she's bad when she disobeys! (She also tells the computer it's "bad, bad" when she gets caught trying to push buttons)

Easter Egg Hunts

We celebrated Easter Sunday at the Blasdels after church with lunch, an Easter egg hunt, silly string- Colton's favorite, but Emery hates it :)... one of my favorite parts of this video is when Colton runs into the pole after Bryn sprays him- he didn't get hurt so it's okay for it to be funny :) 

Since my dad worked on Easter, they had a little egg hunt for Macey a week or two later. I don't know who had more fun, Macey or Grammy :)

Piano

She also "sings" Barbara Ann (says "Ba-Ba-Ba-Ba" over and over) but I didn't really get that on film

For some reason Macey has never liked rolling over. It took her a long time to do it and even when she finally did roll over, she only did it when she absolutely had to. 

Apparently she's back to not liking it because she has started doing this when we lay her on her back :)

Baby #3 Sonogram Pictures

Zoo

Macey loved all of the "dogs" at the zoo yesterday (we might need to work with her on animal names). Especially the ones in the petting zoo (goats and sheep)- she cried when we took her away from them. But she quickly got over it when she saw the "dog!" (peacock) to chase down the sidewalk.

Car Seat

The first time we turned Macey's carseat around to be forward facing (right after her birthday), I was on my way to El Dorado and it was nap time. I thought she'd sleep on the way there, but she was so excited to be facing forward that she kept laughing and squealing :) 

Birthday Party

She wasn't a huge fan of opening presents (didn't want to sit down) but she LOVED the cake!

At the end when she was getting ready to fuss (Chad said she couldn't hold her dog while eating her cake) Emily tilted her head to look at Macey and she started imitating her :)
